M25 Junction 10-11 Closure: 12-15 July

Due to planned works, the M25 will be shut between Junctions 10 (Wisley) and 11 (Chertsey) from 9pm on Friday 12 July, until 6am on Monday 15 July.

 

A diversion will be in place, however, journeys are expected to take much longer than usual.

 

Passengers planning to use this part of the M25 should allow for extra time when travelling to Heathrow during this period. For more information, please visit National Highways’ website.

What is Short Stay Parking Terminal 5?

Located just a short-distance from the Terminal, Terminal 5 Short Stay Parking is perfect for passengers looking for a convenient and efficient experience at the airport, or those dropping-off or picking-up.

Terminal 5 Short Stay parking can be booked in advance up to two hours prior to your arrival, subject to availability.

To make a booking, use the ‘Get a parking quote’ widget at the top of the page, entering the dates, time of entry and exit, the terminal you are flying from, and then select ‘Get a quote’ to see your quotes.

How to Get to Terminal 5 Short Stay Parking

The Terminal 5 Short Stay car park is located adjacent to the terminal, just a five-minute walk via a covered walkway. The car park is also ideal for those dropping-off or collecting passengers from Terminal 5, with walkways linking both the arrivals and departures levels.

If you are arriving using the M25, exit at Junction 14. At the roundabout, take the second exit, head up the ramp and then keep right to enter the Short Stay car park. From the M4, follow signs for Terminal 5 on the Northern Perimeter Road. Continue on to the Western Perimeter Road, then keep left following signs for the Terminal 5 Short Stay car park, with the entrance located on the left-hand side.

How Parking at Terminal 5 Works

  1. Book in advance – We recommend booking your parking in advance to get the best price for stays for longer than 24-hours. If you are staying for less than 24-hours, picking someone up or dropping-off, please drive-up and pay at one of our on-foot machines.

  2. Arriving at Terminal 5 Short Stay car park - Upon arrival, drive-up to the barrier, where your number plate will be read and if you have booked in advance, a ticket showing your booking reference will be issued. If you are staying for a shorter period, simply press the button and a ticket will be issued.

  3. Parking – Parking is available on all levels. Once safely parked, make a note of the level and row of your space before leaving the vehicle.

  4. Getting to Terminal 3 – To get to Terminal 5, simply follow the signs for departures or arrivals, where you will find a covered walkway linking the car park with the main terminal building. 

  5. When you return – On your return, follow the covered walkway back to the car park, and drive your car to the exit gates. Number plate recognition will read your number plate, and the barrier will open if you have pre-booked your parking. If you are paying on the day, you will need to pay at one of our on-foot machines before going to the exit gates.
     

How much is Short Stay Parking at Terminal 5?

The price for Terminal 5 Short Stay Parking varies depending on the duration of your stay.

If you are staying for longer than 24-hours, you will get the best price by booking your parking in advance. You can do this by using the widget at the top of the page, and you can cancel or amend your booking up to two-hours before your arrival time for free.

For stays that are less than 24-hours, pick-ups or drop-offs, you should pay on the day at one of our on-foot machines in the car park. Prices for drive-up users of the car park can be found below.

Do I need to book parking?

It is not essential to book your Terminal 5 Short Stay Parking, you can turn up on the day and pay the daily rates. We do recommend booking in advance to get the best prices, and to make certain of availability, particularly during peak times.

If you have pre-booked parking, you can amend or cancel you booking up to two hours prior to your arrival for free. 

How long can I stay in Terminal 5 Short Stay car park?

99-days is the maximum length of stay for anyone pre-booking Terminal 5 Short Stay parking. If you are looking to stay for longer term than this, you can stay as long as you would like by not pre-booking, where the daily drive-up rates would apply.

Is there electric vehicle charging available?

Electric vehicle charging facilities are not currently provided in the Terminal 5 Short Stay car park. Customers driving EVs should make sure that their vehicles are charged sufficiently before arriving. A list of local charging stations with fast and rapid-charging facilities can be found here.

Customers should use the Fast Track / Overheight Vehicles entrance on the ground floor of Short Stay Car Park 5. This area has a minimum charge of £17.40 for up to two hours.
