What is Long Stay Parking?

Heathrow Long Stay Parking is ideal if you're going away for a couple of days or more.

Simply book Long Stay parking for your trip or drive up to any Long Stay car park. At the entry barrier your registration will be recognised and a ticket will be printed showing your registration and Booking Reference. Once the barrier opens, you may proceed to the zone indicated. 

Use the intercom points at the bus stops to request a pick-up.

How can I book Long Stay parking?

We recommend using the ‘Get a parking quote’ widget at the top of the page to pre-book and save money.

Just enter the date and time of when you want to arrive at Heathrow and the date and time of when you will depart the airport.

Your other option is to simply turn up on the day.

How long does it take to get to the terminal?

Catch a bus to the airport - they run every 15 minutes to each terminal, and the transfer takes as little as 5 minutes. 

 

How do I collect my car?

There are designated Long Stay Parking bus pick-up stops on the arrivals forecourt of each terminal. 

  • Terminal 2 Long Stay Bus Stop: 5/6
  • Terminal 3 Long Stay Bus Stop: 16
  • Terminal 4 Long Stay Bus Stop: 3
  • Terminal 5 Long Stay Bus Stop: 21

On boarding the bus, tell the driver which zone you have parked in. During out-of-hours periods (23:30-04:00), you may need to call to request a transfer on 020 8745 6261. 

At the car park, proceed to exit. The registration will be recognised, opening the barrier. You may need to provide your booking reference details if additional assistance is required. 

 

Where can I pick up or be dropped off?

Members of the public can use the Long Stay car parks for up to 30 minutes free of charge. Upon exit, the barriers will read your ticket or registration number.

For Blue Badge holders, the first 2 hours of parking are free.

For drop-off, please use the call point on entry and state your Blue Badge number and registration to the operator.

On exit, please use the call point and state your registration to exit.

For pick-up, please use the call point on exit and state your Blue Badge number and registration to the operator. Only valid for UK and EEA blue badge holders.

Private hire and trade vehicles can only use the Long Stay car parks when transporting passengers. Private hire and trade vehicles should use the Authorised Vehicle Area.
